God I love this place on a cold night. It’s such a gem. I’ve never had a bad night at Hopleaf. They absolutely deserve the James Beard.

You should try their fries.
Jokes aside, that table looks pretty good.

I had an AWFUL burger there four months ago. Bland, wet, soggy and impossible to eat. Worst meal I had in years.
The ham sandwich slaps, though.

My favorite pork schnitzel of all time. Hopleaf is a Chicago treasure.

That’s a good plate of fries. I hate when I get a plate of little stumpies, which is about every 3rd or 4th time I’m there. But with their garlic aoli, I never stay mad.

I love that place. “Need anything else? Salt? Pepper? A shovel to dig out your sandwich?”

Best sandwich in Chicago. Fight me.

Never been, but saw the mussels comment, and must have them now! Anyone know if they’re everyday? I didn’t see them on their menu.
Pepper_Bun28

They need to bring that head cheese back.
